Why I'm raising Money: NCF is an incredible charity that I have had the privilege to go out and spend some time with and work with. NFC provide lifechanging support for thousands of children living in the Namuwongo slum, Uganda, educating them, feeding them their only meal of the day, and providing health care when they need it. The families of these children only have around £1 a day to live on and end up having to pay around £30 a month to rent a small mud hut to house sometimes up to 12 people. I saw first hand their living conditions and how much of a lifeline NCF is. NCF need all the money they can get, to proivde their workers with fair pay, and continue expanding, helping more and more children; so this challenge was a perfect opportuinity I could try and do my bit from the UK. Even the smallest of donations goes so far, and I have seen how much your support can help and save peoples lives through the work of NCF and Friends of NCF.

All donations are made to the Keswick to Barrow Walk Charity. A percentage of this donation will be used to fund the cost of the walk and support local charities in South Cumbria/North Lancashire. The remainder of the donation will be donated to the Walker's (Team) nominated charity(ies) as listed below.
