The 2024 K2B walk starts at Swirls and follows a path on the slopes to the East of Thirlmere, due to extensive storm damage affecting the road on the West of Thirlmere. The remainder of the walk follows the usual route via Grasmere, Elterwater, and Hodge Close, to Coniston. The route is unchanged from the 2023 route.
