Recognition for Walkers & Stewards
To recognise the achievement in completing the walk, walkers are conferred membership of 'The Fellowship of the Ancient Order of Barking Dogs'. The origins of the fellowship are rooted in the history of the walk with Barking Dogs being a 1950’s American term for aching feet so totally apt for this walk and hence ‘Ye Ancient Order of Barking Dogs’.

Walkers who have completed 15 walks or more
Thousands of people have walked the K2B, but only the walkers below have completed it 15 or more times, with Gordon Ingall heading the list with an amazing 38 walks completed out of the maximum possible 45 Walks which have taken place since the first one in 1967. Only four people have completed 30 or more and have received their Special Tankard in commemoration of this effort over 3 decades or more of walking. If you did not complete the 2010 Walk but have done 15 or more, please advise the Committee so we can maintain the list as complete and accurate as possible. We have checked our records back to 2003.
