2012 Charity Awards

A magnificent 2,488 walkers took part in the 2012 K2B, plus 316 in the C2B. A record amount was raised for charities and good causes.
Sponsorship money late payments

The target for submission of K2B 2012 sponsorship money passed at the end of August. Please make any outstanding payments ASAP as non-payers risk exclusion from future walks.
How the K2B's biggest ever award was used

In August 2012, the Barrow & District Disability Association (BDDA) proudly opened its newly renovated disabled-friendly offices at School Street, Barrow. The extensive building works were possible thanks to the largest single award ever made by the K2B Walk Committee, along with another grant from BAE Systems.
